I've ordered 3-4 things that were backordered, and they all shipped early. Check the "order status" on the website to see if they have shipped. I think it may be possible to cancel an item if it's backordered and has not been processed. If you see that Marisol hasn't been processed, I would call CS and see if they could "exchange" Marisol for Kit (or should that be Kit for Marisol?) Either way, with the demand for Marisol as high as it is they would be smart to do it for you.
